Hakeem Olajuwon
As my career in the NBA took off, I began to feel a sense of social responsibility to use my platform for the betterment of society. Inspired by my passion for Islam and my full understanding of the role I can play, I wholeheartedly committed myself to serving various communities locally and globally to present the true image of Islam.
My vision was to build a foundation that goes beyond my lifetime that has impact on life’s most disadvantaged for generations to come. The Noor Foundation was set up as a vehicle to assist other non-profit organizations that align with our values.
It has been a gratifying experience to witness what we have accomplished so far. We are always in search for other ways to grow as an organization to be able to offer better support to those in need.
