Our Nigerian branch aims to develop strong ties among humankind regardless of their religion, color, or race. Our resources are dedicated to food aid distribution, providing education opportunities, building mosques, schools, and farming…
FOOD AID PROGRAM
The foundation provides food to individuals and families in need. Events are sponsored in four different states in Nigeria – Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, and Oshun.
As part of our food program, we organize Iftaar for the less privileged in our communities, centering our activities on the marginalized and most forgotten demographics in our communities.
EDUCATION
The foundation works closely with many schools throughout Nigeria equipping them with the necessities they require to deliver high-quality education. Furthermore, we are responsible for awarding high-achieving, underprivileged students with academic scholarships. The foundation also helped establish Oshun College and OkeAfa Community Centers. The centers provide places in the area where people in the community can gather to receive information, donated goods, and aid from volunteers.
Our education project includes the following schools
Lagos State
• Ansarudeen Grammar School
• Daru Naeem International school
Oyo State
• Darru Salam Nursery and Primary school
• Da’wah Islamic School and mosque construction support
• The Righteous International Schools support
Port Harcourt
• Yusrah Modern School and Central Mosque
Benin
• University of Benin Central Mosque
FARMLAND
The Noor Foundation purchased 300 acres of land in Ibadan, Nigeria to provide farmland to serve the needs of the very poor and indigent people in nearby communities. During 2009,
clearing work was done and a road was constructed. Construction also began on a farmhouse for workers. During 2012-2013, extensive crop cultivation occurred. From 2014-2017, the cultivation was expanded, and the grain was provided to thousands of poor and indigent people. The farmland was also established to provide the local community with various job opportunities.
