The Noor Foundation is dedicated to supporting the underserved and underprivileged communities of the world. From poverty to health, to education, the foundation is committed to driving long-term change in order to create a more equitable world.
As my career in the NBA took off, I began to feel a sense of social responsibility to use my platform for the betterment of society. Inspired by my passion for Islam and my full understanding of the role I can play. I wholeheartedly committed myself to serving various communities locally and globally to present the true image of Islam. My vision was to build a foundation that goes beyond my lifetime that has impact on life’s most disadvantaged for generations to come. The Noor Foundation was set up as a vehicle to assist other non-profitable organizations that align with our values. It has been a gratifying experience to witness what we have accomplished so far.
